"Thought is the most potent and creative power in the world. It initially takes shape in an individual mind. When shared with others, any benevolent thought starts growing as a vibrant process encompassing more and more people. It is such collective benevolent thoughts that build up great cultural values and treasure in the society."

Ma Gurupriya

Ma Gurupriya is a sannyaasin (renunciate) disciple of Poojya Swamiji – the guiding force of Narayanashrama Tapovanam, Kerala; the Centres for Inner Resources Development, in India and abroad; and the Foundation for Restoration of National Values, New Delhi.

Born in a family of academic excellence, Ma Gurupriya’s spiritual journey began during her days of postgraduate scientific research, when an overwhelming feeling of dispassion evoked an intense yearning for something eternal. She received deekshafrom Baba Gangadhara Paramahamsa, who before attaining Mahasamadhi, entrusted her spiritual welfare to Poojya Swamiji.

Ma renounced her professional life as a lecturer of Physics in 1987. Dedicating her life at the feet of Poojya Swamiji. Ma attained enlightenment under his guidance. She is the Loving Mother for Poojya Swamiji's devotees and disciples around the world.

Ma Gurupriya guides and participates in:

    • Dissemination of Spiritual Knowledge and Value education programmes - conducting lectures and classes in Narayanashrama Tapovanam and the Centres for Inner Resources Development in Vasundhara, Gaziabad, Malaysia and Jamshedpur

    • Writing for the Ashram publication "Vicharasetu - the Path of Introspection" and CIRD souvenir journals.

    • Administration of Narayanashrama Tapovanam and Centres for Inner Resources Development

The Guru-bhakti and Guru-seva that remain the predominant forces shaping Ma’s life are expressed in her discourses and writings, systematic management of Ashram affairs and loving guidance to seekers. Her soulful chanting of GuruStotras and other slokas echo the power of eternal Truth and devotion.
